Open plan office design with workstations and high stool seating

Clockwork Marketing, Newton Abbot

The brief was to relocate Clockwork’s employees from their offices to the large barn next door, which was previously being utilised as an event and meeting space. The current office building would be converted into a residential property at a later date.

Specific coworking areas have been created for the various teams, allowing them to be in close proximity whilst retaining the existing meeting room position. We were able to knock through to an external storage area, which was opened up and glazed to provide a perfect office for Clare, the managing director. A new feature wall was constructed to create a bold brand statement, with bench seating for agile working and further storage. This also screens off the kitchen and WCs, and allows storage to be hidden behind. A new breakout space was created as a multi-use area for clients, lunch breaks and informal collaboration. The character of the building lent itself perfectly to a quirky industrial feel, which was a great fit with Clockwork’s new logo and branding.

Features included – new furniture, a bespoke digital mural, magnetic whiteboard wall, laser-cut felt acoustic screens, accent pendant lights and astro turf in the entrance lobby (just because!)
